Ms. Freemire joined the SCSC staff in May 2023. Prior to joining the SCSC, she served as the Assistant Budget Director at the Georgia Department of Education and has held various school finance positions, including with the Governor’s Office of Planning & Budget and Fulton County Schools.

Ms. Freemire has a master’s degree in public administration from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
