Charter School Program (CSP) State Entity (SE) Grant

The Charter School Program Grant is a $38.3 million State Entity Grant awarded by the U.S. Department of Education in FY22. This grant supports the creation, expansion, and replication of high-quality public charter schools across Georgia through technical assistance and financial grants.

Georgia CSP SE Subgrant

Application Deadline: 12:00 p.m. ET, Thursday, September 25, 2025

Apply now for the fourth round of CSP subgrant awards! Eligible new and replicating Georgia charter schools may apply for up to $1.5 million in subgrant funds, and expanding charter schools may apply for up to $1 million.

Georgia CSP SE New School Leader Fellowship

The application deadline has passed. 

Apply for the 2025-26 New School Leader Fellowship! This program is a professional development opportunity that will include intensive support in a cohort setting for new school leaders during their pre-opening year. Led by Tori Jackson Hines, a Georgia charter school founder and school leader, participants will gain the knowledge and guidance to plan for a successful first year in both academics and operations. The opportunity is funded through Georgia's CSP SE grant, and it is free of charge to participants. Charter schools are encouraged to apply if they have secured authorization and identified a school leader for a Fall 2026 opening.
