The State Charter Schools Foundation of Georgia (SCSF) was established under the authority of O.C.G.A. § 20-2-2092 to support the mission of the State Charter Schools Commission of Georgia (SCSC).

Grant Opportunities

Georgia CSP SE subgrants are available for new, replicating, and expanding charter schools after the charter contract or expansion has been approved by the authorizer.

SCSF Integration with SCSC

Effective October 1, 2024, the SCSF’s mission and functions will be integrated into the SCSC as a part of the agency's new School Support and Outreach Division. This division will be responsible for the Georgia Strategic Charter School Growth Initiative and Georgia’s CSP grant; fundraising for charter schools and grant administration; training and technical assistance for state charter schools; community outreach and partner relationships; and communications and media relations. 

This change strengthens state charter school support and creates a single point of contact for schools seeking technical assistance and support services.
