Student achievement requires shared understandings among stakeholders invested in this goal. These understandings include: what do students need to know and do; what counts as evidence of student mastery; how can I evaluate many sources of data to make decisions about what is working in our schools and in our classrooms, and what needs to change, so that all students are successful? It can be difficult to develop these shared understandings without dedicated time to discuss, reflect, and plan. This 2 day professional learning opportunity provides this dedicated time.
