She previously served as Academic Accountability Manager where she evaluated the academic performance of schools and assisted in the development of the SCSC Comprehensive Performance Framework. Ms. Manthey joined the SCSC Business and Operations Manager and as a research assistant with the SCSC. Prior to joining the SCSC, Ms. Manthey participated in the statewide evaluation of the Race to the Top grant as an intern with the Governor’s Office of Student Achievement. She is a member of the Georgia Partnership for Excellence in Education 2018-2019 Georgia Education Policy Fellowship Program.

Ms. Manthey received her bachelor’s degree in journalism with a concentration in public relations from the University of Georgia and a master’s degree in public policy from Georgia State University. She has a certificate in business intelligence from Emory University.
