Ms. Thompson joined the SCSC staff in September 2020 as an intern, where she assisted in the annual monitoring process, petition review, and other strategic research to support the agency. Prior to joining the SCSC team, she served as an intern for the Governor’s Office of Communications, Callaway Resort & Gardens, and a consulting firm.

Ms. Thompson holds bachelor’s degrees in Political Science and International Affairs from the University of Georgia. She also has a Public Affairs Professional Certificate in Applied Politics.
