As a member of the Charter Development team, Ms. Smith routinely operates cross-functionally with all SCSC staff in providing stakeholder trainings and support to state charter schools. She also oversees the SCSC Governance Training Certification process.  Ms. Smith joined the SCSC staff in October 2022. Ms. Smith is professionally experienced in education and business administration in both the public and private sectors. Ms. Smith received her bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Shorter University.

In her spare time, Ms. Smith enjoys volunteering, active community advocacy, and youth engagement through adolescent development initiatives.
