State Charter Schools Foundation

Our Mission: The State Charter Schools Foundation of Georgia makes strategic investments in the planning, implementation and growth of state charter schools to help ensure all children in Georgia have access to an excellent education.

Our Focus: The State Charter Schools Foundation of Georgia (SCSF) leverages resources from private and public charitable sources to expand educational access, opportunity and attainment for children in Georgia through strategic investments in four main areas: Planning; Implementation, Capital Costs and Growth (see below).

  

Georgia law (O.C.G.A. § 20-2-2092) authorized the SCSC for establish the State Charter Schools Foundation.  The State Charter Schools Foundation is a separate entity from the SCSC and is governed by its own Board of Directors and Bylaws.

The State Charter Schools Foundation is a tax-exempt public charity under Section 501(c)(3) of the IRS Code.  All gifts and donations to the State Charter Schools Foundation are tax-deductible.
