Before joining the SCSC, Mr. Mueller served as the Executive Director of the Office of Innovation at Atlanta Public Schools, founded the Charter School Incubator program at the Georgia Charter School Association, and was the Director of the Office of Charter Schools and District Flexibility at the Georgia Department of Education. Additionally, Mr. Mueller served on Georgia’s State Charter Advisory Committee and State Advisory Panel for Special Education, and worked for the National Association of Charter School Authorizers for nearly ten years, leading charter petition evaluation processes nationwide.
