2023 Petitioner Boot Camp

The Petitioner Boot Camp prepares potential petitioners for the SCSC charter petition process. Attendees learn what goes into a successful charter petition, with a specific focus on the timeline, legal requirements, board governance, financial controls, and school finance. The following individuals should plan to attend petitioner bootcamp: Individual(s) who will develop and submit the petition, at least one governing board member, and any prospective school leader(s).
